(Medical Super-scale Posts). If

these posts are really to be regarded

as super-scale posts, it would

appear that they should be

remunerated at rates above the time-

scale (which for Medical Officers is

£700

-

£1,150) as is proposed in the

case of the Senior Medical Officer.

It is desirable that the "specialist's"

scale should not overlap the time-

scale, and it might be reasonable

to suggest that the salary for the

Radiologist, the Malariologist, the

Bacteriologist and one or more

posts of Health Officer (to be

designated Senior Health Officer)

FURTHER ACTION.

might be fixed at £1,200, the other

posts being remunerated on the

Medical time-scale.
